Terms of Service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Agreement

By accessing or using LawCentral ("Service"), operated by Partwigo Pvt. Ltd., India ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

  • LawCentral is intended for use by legal professionals. It is not a substitute for qualified legal counsel.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must only upload content for which you have the necessary rights and permissions.
  • You must not use LawCentral to violate applicable laws or Bar Council regulations.
  • Your use of the Service is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. User-Initiated Consent & Communications

  • Self-generated consent. By signing up for, logging into, or voluntarily submitting your details on LawCentral, you knowingly and directly provide your contact information — including your mobile phone number and email address — to us. You agree that our possession and use of that contact information rests entirely on your own explicit actions and consent, and does not constitute a privacy breach or an unauthorised invasion of privacy.
  • Express authorisation. You explicitly authorise LawCentral, its employees, and authorised representatives to contact you via voice call, SMS, WhatsApp message, or email at the contact details you provided.
  • Scope of communications. These reach-outs may cover account verification (OTP), security and system alerts, customer support, product feedback and onboarding, offers of paid subscriptions and promotional updates, and — where you approach or exceed the usage limits of your current plan — contacting you to inform you of the limit and to offer a plan upgrade or add-on so you can continue using the Service without interruption.
  • DND / NDNC waiver. You agree that this voluntary, self-initiated consent overrides, to the extent permitted by law, any registration you may have on the National Do Not Call (NDNC) register or any similar "Do Not Disturb" (DND) register under applicable telecommunication regulations.
  • Opt-out. You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time by replying "STOP" on our message threads or by writing to support@lawcentral.in. Transactional messages (OTP, security, billing, and service alerts) will continue as necessary to operate your account.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all case files, documents, and other content you upload to the Service. You grant LawCentral a limited license to store, process, and display this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5. Platform Intellectual Property & Use Restrictions

The Service — including its software, source code, user interface, design, workflows, AI systems, prompts, models, templates, compiled databases, documentation, and the "LawCentral" and "Nyra" names, logos, and marks — is and remains the exclusive property of Partwigo Pvt. Ltd. and its licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and other applicable intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own professional legal work. No other rights are granted. Except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you must not, and must not permit or assist any third party to:

  • Reverse engineer — reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, prompts, model configurations, or system architecture of the Service, or probe the Service to discover how any of its features are implemented;
  • Scrape or extract — access the Service by any automated means (scrapers, crawlers, bots, or scripts) or systematically extract, harvest, or bulk download any data, content, or outputs from the Service;
  • Build a competing product — access or use the Service, or any output generated by it, to develop, train, improve, or operate a product or service that competes with the Service, including using outputs to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI or machine learning model;
  • Competitive benchmarking — conduct benchmarking, performance testing, or feature analysis of the Service for the benefit of a competitor, or publish or disclose the results of any such benchmarking or comparison, without our prior written consent;
  • Resell or redistribute outputs — sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the Service or its outputs (including research results, drafts, and case data) to third parties as a standalone product or as part of a competing service, other than delivering work product to your own clients in the ordinary course of your legal practice;
  • Copy or misappropriate — copy, frame, mirror, or create derivative works of the Service or any part of it, or remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices or marks.

You acknowledge that breach of this Section 5 would cause the Company irreparable harm for which monetary damages would be an inadequate remedy, and that the Company shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief in addition to all other remedies available at law or in equity. This Section 4 survives termination of your account or these Terms.

6. Disclaimers & No Legal Advice

  • LawCentral is a technology platform operated by Partwigo Pvt. Ltd. It is not a law firm, legal service provider, or legal advisor.
  • No attorney-client relationship is created between you and LawCentral or Partwigo Pvt. Ltd. by using this Service.
  • AI-generated outputs — including research, drafts, case analysis, and suggestions — may contain inaccuracies, hallucinated citations, incorrect legal reasoning, or outdated law. You bear sole responsibility for independently verifying all outputs before relying on them in court, advisory work, or any legal proceeding.
  • Data aggregated from third-party sources (eCourts, Indian Kanoon, public court records) is provided "as-is." We will investigate reported inaccuracies but make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
  • The Service is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the Service. LawCentral shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from service downtime, outages, or interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Partwigo Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, any output generated by the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Partwigo Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your reliance on AI-generated outputs, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the platform in a manner that risks harm to other users or our infrastructure.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed mutually, seated in New Delhi, India. The language of arbitration shall be English.
